Behind Ondine…
Hi! I’m Makayla, a West Michigan–based fitness instructor.
Growing up near the lakes, I’ve always felt drawn to moving water. Its rhythm and flow mirror the nervous system in many ways, calming, energizing, and restoring all at once. That connection became the foundation of my approach to teaching movement.
I live in Grand Haven, where summers are spent soaking in long beach days and the steady rhythm of lakeshore life. That balance of movement and stillness shapes the way I teach.
I teach group and private sessions at Body Haus Lifestyle Club, and have been offering private sessions and curated events for several years. This space was created to bring those offerings together, making it easy to book events, schedule private sessions, or learn more about my practice.
My training began with my first love, barre. I gained my certification in 2024, continuing on and becoming rooted in the Balanced Body repertoire, blending classical and contemporary Pilates to strengthen the body, calm the mind, and leave you feeling inspired and energized.
